@bender@twtxt.net Well, so far, I’m using the standard web client. Haven’t found a great client yet. 🫤 Mastodon/Fediverse is also very different from twtxt, there are way more images/videos that I’d like to see – a TUI client like toot wouldn’t work for me.

Dunno, maybe I’ll make some changes in this area after christmas. Try self-hosting again or something like that …

The .log is just a simple append each request. The idea with the .cvs is to have it tally up how many request there have been from each client as a way to avoid having the log file grow too big. And that you can open the .cvs as a spreadsheet and have an easy overview and filtering options.

Access to those files are closed to the public.

did it work? I tried loading the file from /twtxt.txt, /twtAgent.php and /twtAgent2.php

Also reading the code, I see it creates two files, but I’m not sure which you are using now:

@eapl.mx@eapl.mx Yes, the idea is to add User Agent support to #Timeline.
Right now it just adds every request to a growing log file, but I have also been working on a way to analyse it, so it only saves the time of the latest request.
I’m not sure how to make it part of timeline itself, since it requeses that you redirect/rewrite from twtAgent.php to the acctual twtxt.txt
Help with making Timeline send proper User Agents to others would be much appreciated:)

typical 5km easy then 5km comfortable-uncomfortable followed by another 5km easy. local weather and signs said it was around 48F, very low humidity (the sweat salt stains prove that bit), and just a really nice day out with a breeze. stopped the run after the planned session to get some extra walking in for a stupid garmin challenge.

@prologic@twtxt.net Never seen macOS but I believe that’s a yes, just like in the second screenshot. That’s my whole screen zoomed on the cursor’s position and it keeps following.

@prologic@twtxt.net had to get Compiz from the edge/testing repo, but I believe that you can do without it. Xfce’s default Alt+Scroll thing works out of the box.
