@aelaraji@aelaraji.com … this made me realize that I don’t really know anymore which commands I use. It’s all muscle memory by now. 🤔
@prologic@twtxt.net @ Late to the party, but this could be nice. @ I agree there needs to be optimizations. Following like 70 or more feeds really puts a strain. I am pondering some ideas.

@aelaraji@aelaraji.com one i use quite frequently is when i have a list of items (1 per line) and want them sorted but only keep those which are unique: ggV}:sort u
TIL: The word “eldritch”, as in “eldritch horror”, does not refer to some small village in England. 🥴 https://www.etymonline.com/word/eldritch
@prologic@twtxt.net Sure!! gg=G auto-indents your documents, as for the rest it’s:
vfor selection mode, cfor change anddfor delete actions as usual.
- followed by either ‘a
for around ori` for inside/in-between whatever special character comes after it
_ the [, (, “ … special characters define the perimeter/extent of the action.
i.e: ci" would be change the text under the cursor between quotes and da[ _delete text and brackets included_
I’ve linked a reference in the first twt, hope you find it useful.

I am currently working on a next version of Søren Peter’s Timeline. Making it v1.1. Is it 1.1? Anyways I am seeing to where i can take it. Made some nice improvements.

Web interface is deleted in https://git.mills.io/saltyim/saltyim/commit/376de2702319686c902ec03b8ca1e17b020fc639 but seems incorrectly (in source i see git lfs metadata). Can be builded if you grab https://git.mills.io/saltyim/saltyim/src/commit/15a64de82829/internal/web/app.wasm and place it in source (go directory has cached source) and rebuild
@prologic@twtxt.net would you please check my web interface? is that a normal thing or am I missing something?

Valeu pelo feedback @orahcio@vaporhole.xyz ! Você está falando do link na página inicial mesmo, ou no /blog? Na página inicial foi na unha mesmo.
looking at history for context on how the UN handles apartheid: https://www.sahistory.org.za/article/united-nations-and-apartheid-timeline-1946-1994 which seems to imply that we have a difficult fight ahead without the support of the security council…
There is a pressing need to hold Israel accountable, not only for its longstanding violations of international law, but specifically for its longstanding refusal to abide by its Charter obligations. In the face of this recalcitrance, the UN must move towards expelling Israel from the organization, not only because the UN exists to uphold international law, but also to maintain the UN’s integrity as an organization. The persistent, open violations by Israel of binding UNSC resolutions cannot go unpunished. The current situation, where Israel openly accuses the UN of bias, refuses to cooperate with the organization on multitude levels, defies binding orders of the ICJ, physically attacks UN premises and staff, and even moves towards designating a UN agency as a terrorist organization, is a clear threat to the authority of the UN – an issue which the UNSC raised explicitly in the case of South Africa. To allow the situation to continue would show that international legal norms, and rules of the UN binding member states, are applied on the basis of double standards: specifically, that states allied to powerful Western countries are afforded impunity. https://opiniojuris.org/2024/10/09/israel-must-be-expelled-from-the-united-nations/

@2024-10-09T08:11:00Z@twtxt.net It an easy way of twt-adressing by using the timestamp instead of a nick, which is arbitrary anyhow. Just my suggestion for a new reply-model ;)
¡El gato valenciano y orgulloso de serlo!
#catsoftwtxt
@sorenpeter@darch.dk curious why you at mentioned a timestamp? 🤔
@2024-10-08T19:36:38-07:00@a.9srv.net Thanks for the followup. I agrees with most of it - especially:
Please nobody suggest sticking the content type in more metadata. 🙄
Yes, URL can be considered ugly, but they work and are understandable by both humans and machines. And its trivial for any client to hide the URLs used as reference in replies/treading.
Webfinger can be an add-on to help lookup people, and it can be made independent of the nick by just serving the same json regardless of the nick as people do with static sites and a as I implemented it on darch.dk (wf endpoint). Try RANDOMSTRING@darch.dk on http://darch.dk/wf-lookup.php (wf lookup) or RANDOMSTRING@garrido.io on https://webfinger.net
