Watching “Happy People: A Year in the Taiga” in German the evening before, this thing totally looked like a trap to us. So, we decided to sit on another, more rustic bench nearby. :-) Oh neat, it turns out, there is a much longer four part series of the documentary in English on YouTube. Highly recommended! Judging by the surroundings, I think this is actually a forest altar or something of that nature. But it looks like they started with the chappel’s reinforcement steel and then they ran out of money before completing it or even placing the concrete forms. :-P

↳ In-reply-to » 💡 I had this crazy idea (or is it?) last night while thinking about Twtxt and Yarn.social 😅 There are two things I think that could be really useful additions to the yarnd UI/UX experience (for those that use it) and as "client" features (not spec changes). The two ideas are quite simple:

The nice thing here is that any Ui/UX rendering for a “good user experience” is similar to what yarnd does for Youtube/Spotify/whatever embedding. Plus anyone can participate, even if they don’t really have a client that understand it, it’s just text with some “syntax” afterall.

anyway re: girl doxxing for wonyoung. this is real wonyoungism. i can only dream of being that iconic. for context wonyoung gets so much hate and she is literally my age and has been doing this idol shit since she was 13 and has gotten called all sorts of horrible things since then because people are jealous of her. so imo doxxing in her name is OK and justified i DON’T CARE there are youtubers in south korea who have made a career out of hating on her and are now getting sued by her for defamation

nowadays laptop youtube reviews be like, this is probably the best laptop I’ve ever reviewed, it’s an amazing AMD Fryzer AMX++ Pro Max 335599x with 66core + 99 performace/enthusiast cores chips, with the best multicore-quad ratio and 45,98TB of super fast next-gen GDDR+ RAM. The GPU is just on a whole other level, this has the 86DS+ Radeon chip with the quad GeForce 55660MNSP-G chip with an astonishing 20GB of dedicated low-latency GDDR9 RAM, it is incredible how this performs at 1068 fps, and this can do it!

↳ In-reply-to » Took today off work. My workplace has a special form of leave called "My Day" that you can take in addition to your usual Annual leave. So nice! 😊 I'm using one of them today to take advantage of the long weekend coming up (Australia Day). Planning on making repairs to one of my Hypervisor nodes that is currently down and powered off for repairs. The SATA DOM (Disk on Module) boot disk is kind of dead and the controller refusing to take any new writes. It's about ~5 years old 🤣

↳ In-reply-to » Die Bastelei am TxtwtReader geht gut voran. Neben diversen Filtern und Ansichten werden Unterhaltungen nun schön strukturiert angezeigt. Jetzt müsste ich mich auch mal um das Verfassen von Einträgen kümmern. Wenn ich mit dem Projekt zufrieden bin, lasse ich es vielleicht auch auf die Welt los. #OpenSource

  • Wechsler zwischen Zeitachse und Unterhaltung
  • Paginierung nur noch, wenn benötigt
  • Twtxt-Parsing optimiert (Parser-Plugins für: Youtube, iFrames, Bilder, Erwähnungen, kaputtes HTML, …)
  • unter der Haube aufgeräumt
