What was also extremely surprising to me: I’m heavily afraid of heights, but looking down this giant hole wasn’t a problem at all. Not a single bit. Neither with the light turned off nor on. I really don’t understand it. I should have absolutely shitted my pants. The only thing was that I was really, really holding onto my camera because I was afraid that I accidentally drop it into the well. But other than that, absolutely nothing. Very weird. But I take it.
